Miss Toya's Southern Kitchen

Najhmier and jordan have amazing customer service for the moment I walked in to when I left, they made me feel right at home very quick speedy service made me really feel like family. I brought my husband back for happy hour today. Another amazing day of great service. I truly love dining at Miss Toya’s and Laurel because of them God bless you and your staff and keep up the great work.

I came to the restaurant specifically for the fried green tomato’s. Yes service was super slow, the restaurant was not busy, I think there was only one waiter working. The 20% service fee on every party is confusing. I still tipped the waiter. The greeter was very pleasant. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered a grilled salmon blt which is supposed to come with French fries. When my plate arrived there were no fries. I asked the waiter and he said he wasn’t sure if the sandwich came with fries. The fried green tomato’s are amazing. My fellow diner ordered a Caesar salad and sweet potato’s on the side which did not disappoint. The menu is pricey and I would want to go back but I believe for this restaurant to succeed they should work on service and training. I noticed a lot of take out orders. I don’t eat out in a restaurant often and when I do I want to be wowed to want to come back.

Ms. Daisy was Outstanding. The food was superb. Thank you Chef. Jambalaya with Crab legs Sweet Potatoes Collard Green. Hot honey Salmon Jerk Chicken Egg rolls Lemon Drop Sangria with ice pop Fried devil eggs Long Island ice tea Fantastic. I was living in NAWLINS for 4 years. Did it proud. Blessings. Everything here was excellent especially Gee Gee she was so sweet polite and loves her job. Definitely was a pleasure to celebrate my bday here . Thank yall so much for this amazing experience!!

We had an awesome time here our waitress Daisy was awesome she made our first experience here The best!! The staff were very nice and tentative I loved it!! I give this place a 10/10 Highly Recommend!!

GiGi was fantastic! She was a fantastic waitress! Her customer service was so nice. She was attentive and so full of joy and love! She kept everything flowing! The food was so good. We will definitely be back!

Today was a vibe! When I checked out this location a few months back, I didn't know what the buzz was all about because I didn't like the food. However, I went back today and they definitely redeemed themselves. The food was amazing!! I got the steak & cheese rolls and crabmeat deviled eggs. Man!!!! Soooooo good. Let me not forget about the cornbread. What kind of magic honey did that drizzle on that fo shizzle! Delicious! I ended up taking a few bites and asked for a to go bag, so I could enjoy the rest later. Our server, Ms. Deaisy was so cute and quaint. Great customer service from the time we were seated until we left. And I loved the ambiance. I came at the right time because there wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant and those that were there we were talking, singing (because the music was popping) and laughing. I would definitely go again :)

Went on a Friday during lunch time. Had the gumbo with cornbread 10/10. Gumbo was nicely done. Cornbread was swimming in a bowl of butter literally tasted like pound cake was amazing. Not too sweet just perfect. Got the peach lemonade I believe and that was so good. No complaints at all were seated immediately. Server was nice. Buffalo wings were sauced up and still crunchy.
